Custom and volume optical manufacturing with the expertise to guide you:
TECHSPEC® VIS 0° Coated Achromatic Lenses consist of two optical components cemented together to form an achromatic doublet. The doublet is computer optimized to correct for on-axis spherical and chromatic aberrations. Achromatic lenses are best for applications involving multi-color (white light) imaging due to their specific doublet lens pairing that enables them to correct the color separation inherent in glass. TECHSPEC® VIS 0° Coated Achromatic Lenses provide optimized transmission for 425 – 675nm, reducing average reflection to 0.4%. MgF2 and VIS-NIR Coated Achromats are also available on our website.
Please note that coating performance outside each product’s specified design range is theoretical and may vary.
Edmund Optics offers comprehensive custom manufacturing services for optical and imaging components tailored to your specific application requirements. Whether in the prototyping phase or preparing for full-scale production, we provide flexible solutions to meet your needs. Our experienced engineers are here to assist—from concept to completion.
