Product Details

Reflective Diffusers are designed for ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) diffusing applications, providing higher efficiency in the respective spectra than transmissive diffusers. These diffusers feature a sandblasted metallic coated surface that serves as a diffuse reflecting surface. Incident light reflected off this surface is transformed to have a diffuse intensity pattern. TECHSPEC Reflective Diffusers are coated with either Enhanced Aluminum or Protected Gold for high reflectivity in the UV or IR spectra, respectively. Standard sizes with diameters as small as 5mm are available.
