Brief Summary
The Accountant is responsible for managing full sets of accounts and overseeing financial operations. This includes ensuring timely and accurate monthly account closures, preparing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, and developing budgets. The role involves collaboration with external auditors and tax agents while driving continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.
Responsibility
- Perform full sets of accounts and oversee financial and accounting operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing of accounts
- Prepare monthly management reports, and financial and accounting reports.
- Develop and execute budgets, closely monitoring performance against budget.
- Provide hands-on experience in handling statutory accounts such as liaising with external auditors, tax agents, government, and other professional bodies.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare monthly cash flow projection
- Must be able to handle and manage multiple projects account
Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
- At least more than 3-5 years working experience in Finance/accounting with exposure on full set accounting for reasonably sized local and foreign companies
- Audit experience in Big 4 Audit firms with exposure on compliance and controls will be preferred
- Strong financial, analytical and accounting knowledge with good written & verbal communication skills.
- SAP experience is essential/a must
- Advanced MS Excel skill is expected and VBA programming will be an advantage
- Good communication skills. Able to interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated and fast learner
